Bumbling baby photographer Ronnie Jackson (Bob Hope) gets mistaken for a private detective and hired to find the missing Baron by Baroness Carlotta Montay (Dorothy Lamour). This is not a straight forward assignment, however, and Jackson soon finds himself involved in a murder and pursued by gangsters.
