Every person is born with an identity and that is the NAME, by which he is recognised by the society and the world. This is brought out dramatically and most intriguingly in this film NAAM.
Janki, a widow, mother of two sons, Ravi and Vicky, was hiding a secret from Ravi for quite a long time. Ravi has enjoyed only the name of the family for identity as he was born from another woman, his father had an affair with. Unfortunately, Ravi's real mother died when Ravi was just an infant. This revelation shocks Ravi but he accepts this truth whole-heartedly and becomes more loving and caring son of Janki and friendly brother of Vicky. As usual, Ravi performs his duties to keep the house running with his hard work and dedication towards the family.
Her real son Vicky is a dreamer and wants to make big life in an easy way. Towards this goal, he happens to land in Dubai to cherish his dreams but as the fate would have, his documents turned out to be manipulated and take, which left him nowhere.
Desperate, helpless, he walks into the treacherous web of Rana, the Don of Heroin and Drug trade of international scale and under his instruction he goes to Hong Kong. Here he is trapped in three ways, firstly the police are after him, secondly his love bondage stops.
