Carrying out a violent robbery with the help of crooked company employee, Dennis Pearson, the gang kill a security guard before fleeing with the money. The crime itself is successful, but it is not long before the group begins to implode, with distrust and terror rising as the noose tightens.
The tension mounts with the appearance of Pearson's beautiful wife. Seductive and dissatisfied, Katie is a dangerous complication for the otherwise impenetrable Mellor. But Katie has her own agenda, and she is just as determined as the others to get what she wants...
