"Pitaah" is a father, is that facet of male personality which right from a child to an adult identifies within the ocean of humanity called "The World". "Pitaah" is a story of one such father "Rudra"
Rudra's family comprising of wife Paro, twin sons Luv-Kush and a nine year old daughter Dugra. They live in a small basti in a village named Shikarpur. This basti and its inhabitants are cursed, ordained to work under a despot named Thakur Avadh Narain Singh. Thakur Avadh Narain has made sure that the whole basti is at his mercy. Thakur has two sons, Bacchu and Bhola who are arrogant duo. They follow their father's footsteps. On one occasion Bacchu and Bhola go to a nearby village to spend the night with a mujra dancer. The next morning Bacchu and Bhola leave back to Haveli, not knowing this journey back was to change their fate.
What happens and how one incident changes Rudra and his family's life?
