From acclaimed writer/director Ron Shelton comes this film starring Antonio Banderas (Evita) as Cesar Dominguez and Woody Harrelson (Natural Born Killers) as Vince Boudreau. Cesar and Vince are best friends and boxers. By a strange twist of fate they get a break at the last minute from crooked fight promoter Joe Domino (Tom Sizemore, Red Planet) as substitute undercard fighters, at a warm up act for a heavyweight title match featuring Mike Tyson - with a promise of $50,000 each and a shot at the middleweight title.
The only hitch is that they have to face each other. They resort to enlisting Grace (Lolita Davidovich, JFK) Cesar's girlfriend and Vince's ex, at the wheel to drive the to Vegas. On the way, they pick up Lia (Lucy Liu, Charlie's Angels), a sexy nymphomaniac hitch hiker. Once in the ring, their friendship is put to the ultimate test in a brutal and bloody fight.
