Back to Earth takes place after the tenth series of the widely appreciated Red Dwarf, one of the most successful sci fi comedy television shows to date; Kochanski is dead and the crew are hurled through a portal to find that they are just characters from a TV series. As it dawns on them that they will die in the final episode, the Dwarfers set out to find their creators to discover how long they have left to live.
