A noble knight returns to his homeland to find that is has been decimated by the Black Plague. The Holy church deems the Plague to be the work of sorcery and so find a witch guilty of the charges; therefore she must be dealt with accordingly.
Two brave and famous knights; Behmen (Nicolas Cage) and Felson (Ron Perlman) are put in charge of transporting the accused witch to a remote abbey where the witch will have rituals performed upon her in the hope that the Plague will be cured.
Upon their journey, the noblemen notice that the young girl is much more than mere mortal, and a huge discovery is about to pit them against an evil and destructive force.

Season of the Witch
Season of the Witch is a great film. Good character building and the story moves logically, while keeping the suspense going. Nicolas Cage can still bring it over. Ron Perlman is also a perfect knight. A nice evil surprise for the climax too.
