    Description

    Release Date: 13 November 2006

Based on the classic novel by H. Rider Haggard, She is a sumptuous, lavish classic from the Hammer vaults.
She is the incredible tale of Leo Vincey (John Richardson - One Million Years BC, The Vengeance of She), an ex-serviceman in the Middle East right after World War I who, along with his superior officer, Major Holly (Peter Cushing - Frankenstein Created Woman, The Beast Must Die), embarks on a quest for a fabled lost city deep in the uncharted regions of Africa. After an arduous trek the men make their own way to the lost city of Kuma with the help of a native girl, Ustane (Rosenda Monteros - The Magnificent Seven). Here they find a legendary queen who possesses the secret to immortality. The queen, Ayesha, (Ursula Andress - Dr No, Clash of the Titans) rules over a land descended into savagery and cannibalism. 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' has been waiting for almost two millennia for the re-incarnation of her beloved, Kallikrates, who she killed in a jealous fury in ancient Egypt where they were lovers.
The undying queen's jealously guarded secret is revealed to be an icy "Blue Flame" that, when entered, gives one eternal life. When She tries to take Leo into the "Blue Flame" with plans for eventual world domination, a horrific surprise awaits them....
