Signs & Wonders follows the lives of Alex, an Americanized Swedish businessman based in Athens, and his wife Marjorie as everything around them begins to unravel.
Betrayed by Alex through lies and an affair with Katherine, Marjorie begins an affair of her own with a political activist whop becomes involved in some life-threatening situations. Interwoven into this personal story of love and family obscured by money, guilt, fate and over-rationalisation is a larger political one about American cultural and corporate imperialism.

Visually stunning through swirling colours and chaotic camerawork, with a soundtrack to match including Eric Satie and Portishead's Adrian Utley, Signs & Wonders is at once a psychological thriller and, in the words of the director Jonathan Nossiter "a fable without a moral".
