Silver Dream Racer DVD

Bold, reckless racing enthusiast Nick Freeman (David Essex - Stardust, That'll Be The Day) inherits a prototype bike designed and built by his late brother - the Silver Dream Racer. Consumed by a desire for glory on the racetrack he manages to get financial backing and enters the challenge for the world championship at Silverstone. His main competition is wily American Bruce McBride (Beau Bridges - Norma Rae, The Fabulous Baker Boys) who will stop at nothing to win both the title and Julie (Cristina Raines - Nashville, The Duellists), the beautiful lady that both bikers fall for.

David Essex is a music phenomenon who has written, recorded and produced albums and singles that have sold millions of copies worldwide - this film captures him at the top of his form, both as an actor and a performer. David has a passion for both action and motorbikes and it certainly shows in this film that is both co-written and directed by notable director David Wickes (The Sweeney, The Professionals).
