Two brothers travel across America searching for their missing father and hunt down supernatural creatures along their way. The paranormal thriller sees Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles, SMALLVILLE)--who has followed his father into the family business of battling evil--contacting his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) to tell him that their father is missing. As they follow clues in their father?s journal, the brothers realise that he has passed on to them all the knowledge he accumulated during the past 30 years. They take up the mantle of his crusade and battle all manner of creatures in a quest to find their father. The series is made by the Warner Bros Network--makers of SMALLVILLE and CHARMED--and SUPERNATURAL combines elements of those youths battling evil forces shows with the paranormal, sci-fi horror style of the X-FILES. Series 1 ? Vol.1 of SUPERNATURAL details the adventures of the brothers in the first half of the first series.
