    Description

    Release Date: 19 January 2004

Whitbury Leisure Centre is preparing to celebrate its first anniversary, but as usual where Brittas (Chris Barrie) is concerned, things go far from smoothly. Brittas gets sent to the dock accused of murder, sent to Coventry by his staff and sent a mysterious parcel containing a large dead spider.

Colin (Michael Burns) trying to be supportive as always, falls victim to the spider, behaves oddly after a bang on the head and has a nasty encounter with high tension cables while practicing with his juggling balls. Somehow Brittas emerges the hero, saves Colin and foils an international drugs ring. But can he save his marriage to his long suffering wife Helen (Pippa Haywood) while encumbered with his twin brother Horatio (Richard Braine) - the Dean of Beirut to be.

Laura (Julia St. John) has her fair share of surprises too. She applies for a job in London and her estranged husband appears on the scene. Meanwhile, Brittas pursues his vision for world peace, and finds an unlikely ally in the form of East End gangster Eddie Barett (Perry Fenwick). But his idea of having people from all walks of life "playing with each other on the gymnasium floor" is sure to raise more than an eyebrow!
