Dr Eckleburg is watching you...

As good as the book, in my estimation - and a marvellous complement to the book if you are a student studying the text. Robert Redford is absolutely perfect in the role of Jay Gatsby and Mia Farrow is equally powerful in her role as the somewhat indifferent Daisy Buchanan. The remake, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, due out in 2012, will have a lot to live up to.
