    Description

    Release Date: 22 August 2005

"To put the 'hard word'' on". to apply pressure, sometimes involving threat or menace...

Meet the Twentyman brothers - three wayward stick up men who live by the credo 'Nobody gets hurt'. The eldest and brightest, Dale (Guy Pearce), is the undisputed leader of the gang, whilst the middle sibling, Mal (Damien Richardson), is enthusiastic and dependable. And the youngest, Shane (Joel Edgerton), providing plenty of muscle, but with a side order of destructive tendencies.

Released from prison for the umpteenth time thanks to their crooked lawyer Frank (Robert Taylor) - who's knee-deep in both the brother's affairs and Dale's wife Carol (Rachel Griffiths) - the brothers are landed with one final one for Frank. The plan? To rip off the bookies at The Melbourne Cup.

A lightning paced, viciously violent, deliciously devious comedy thriller...
