Soon after David Lamont, a literary agent dubbed 'The King of Fright' moves into a coveted three-storey penthouse in New York, he begins receiving violent crime scene photographs that appear to have taken in his new apartment, followed by videotapes that document his every move.

As the walls of reality slowly fall away and dark secrets are revealed, Lamont is thrown headlong into a downward spiral of paranoia and murderous intent - but will he be able to separate fact from fiction in time?
