Set in and around the famous Ace Cafe, this classic British film of the 60's follows the lives of two newly weds, Dot played by Rita Tushingham. (A Taste Of Honey, Dr Zhivago) and Reggie, Colin Campbell (Nuns On The Run) mistaking lust for love, their marriage ends up on the rocks. When Reggie moves in with his best mate Pete played by Dudley Sutton (Tinker in Lovejoy) he discovers a new world and relationship.
Directed by Sidney J. Furie (The Ipcress File) the film captures the 60's biker scene brilliantly and pints a picture of social order and sexuality being stretched to new boundaries never before touched by the British cinema.
