Meet two brothers. Brother number one is Ed Waxman (Brendan Fehr). Ed grew up video taping and everything. Then he fell in love with Cathy and launched a brilliant advertising career. The career tanked when Cathy dumped him. One Friday he learns that the only way he can save his job is to turn up at the agency on Monday afternoon with a world-stopping campaign. Brother number two is Cooper (Chris Klein), a minor actor and major Lothario who has achieved financial success pitching Japanese whiskey. It is Ed's birthday and Cooper's well-meaning ambition for the weekend is simple - set Ed to rights by getting him laid. Ed is reluctant but Cooper insists he'll be back at work and in a more creative frame of mind in no time. Cooper tries various approaches - the results are both disastrous and hilarious. By the time he has spent the night in jail with a maniac, Ed has had enough. He and Cooper come to blows and Ed takes off. As the hours go by, a worried Cooper makes an unexpected decision and Ed discovers the inspiration he needs - it was right under his nose the whole time.
