Desperado: Director Robert Rodriguez continues the story of 'El Mariachi', in this slam-bang sequel. Bloodthirsty drug kingpin Bucho has angered musical El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas) by killing his girlfriend and rendering him unable to play the guitar. Bent on revenge the musician-turned-killing machine arrives in town to put Bucho out of business and an inevitable bloody showdown ensues.
The Quick And The Dead: Herod (Gene Hackman - Behind Enemy Lines), Mayor and ruler of Redemption, has turned his town into a haven for thugs and miscreants. In return for his 'leniency', he keeps 50 cents on every dollar traded by the unsavoury group. Each year Herod holds a shooting contest, which attracts people from miles around, including his son, "The Kid" (Leonardo DiCaprio - Gangs of New York) and Cort (Russell Crowe - Gladiator). It is a shoot to kill contest with the prize being a large sum of a cash. Herod wins every year until Ellen (Sharon Stone - Casino), rides into town, a six-gun strapped to her hip and revenge burning in her heart. She's fast, furious and her mind is set on winning the ultimate prize of a duel to the death with Herod.
Open Range: Packed with epic action and breathtaking gunfights, Open Range is a powerfully gripping story starring Academy Award winners Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner, and Academy Award nominee Annette Bening. Four cowboys, trying to escape their pasts, are driving cattle and living off the land on the open range - free grazing outside of the law. When ruthless, evil rancher Denton Baxtor (Michael Gambon) tries to run them out of town, the men's peaceful existence takes a violent turn and ends in the grittiest, most explosive gunfight on film as two men battle for honour, justice and a way of life that's quickly disappearing.
