    Description

    Release Date: 13 November 2006

    As Tears Go By:
Wong Kar-Wai's first full length feature film is a harsh fable set on the mean streets of late eighties Hong Kong. Its is the tale of two lowly gangsters, Ah Wah (Andy Lau) and his side-kick Fly (Jacky Cheung), trapped in a downward spiral of violence and vengeance. When Ah's cousin arrives from Kowloon, she brings with her the hope of life away from nonstop savagery and corruption. However, escape from their past is impossible and 'the life' soon catches up with them.

    Days Of Being Wild:
Hong Kong 1960: York (Leslie Cheung) is a vain, amoral sexual predator abandoned in his childhood. In he's youth he drifts through a series of casual friendships and affairs with one purpose, to discover the identity of his natural mother. When York discovers that she has long since moved to the Philippines, he travels there in search of the truth. A haunting and beautiful film with sumptuous cinematography by Kar-Wai's long-time collaborator, Christopher Doyle.

    2046:
Late 1960s Hong Kong: Chow is an out of work journalist and pulp fiction writer living in a cheap hotel. Bruised and battered by love, he pursues a playboy lifestyle of zero commitment and one-night stands. He develops a passion for a beautiful call girl, enjoys a breezy summer with the hotel manager's eldest daughter, all the while working on a science fiction novel about a mysterious hi-tech train that transports people to the year 2046 to reclaim their lost memories.
