William Tauber is a psychology professor drawn into a web of danger and desire from which he cannot escape. Mourning the recent death of his wife, Tauber is easily seduced by the beautiful and mysterious Ali Broussard. Following a chance meeting of unexpected pleasure, he yearns to share her life forever, but is suspicious that she may carry a dark secret. His suspicions are confirmed, when he discovers the police are tracking a prostitute known as "Bedroom Eyes" who murders her clients. Realising Ali may be the murderer, Tauber uses his psychological expertise to try and see the world through her eyes.
