Three master swordsmen converge in this dazzling showcase of martial arts prowess starring Andy Lau (Infernal Affairs) and Brigitte Lin (The Bride with White Hair).
On the eve of a prestigious martial arts contest, contender Smiling Man (Lau) is charged with the rape and murder of the Royal Princess. He flees with the help from Ming Sword (Lin) another contender in the competition and the disciple from the rival sword school. As he struggles to clear his name, Smiling Man accidentally uncovers a grave conspiracy and must face the skills of the third entrant in the competition, Sabre.
Director Taylor Wong (Buddha's Palm) combines dynamic wirework action with graceful acrobatics in this excellent example of swordplay genre.
