Based on the heart-wrenching, bittersweet story of British cook and writer Nigel Slater's childhood, adapted from his best selling memoir, Toast is a delicious love letter to the tastes and smells that a young boy associates with his journey into adulthood.
Starring Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech, Sweeney Todd) alongside Ken Stott (Rebus, Messiah), Victoria Hamilton (Pride and Prejudice) and Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Spiderwick Chronicles), Toast is the ultimate nostalgia trip through everything edible in 1960s Britain.

Miss Potter
Toast
Having already read the book I was pleasently surprised at the adaptation to Film. Nigel's Mother was just as I imagined as was his Dad. Mrs. Potter was a bit larger than life but I enjoyed the whole experience. Real tear jerker but loved it.
