Following the gruesome murder of the Bryce family by their own son at a plantation house, legend is born that the house and its surrounding land is cursed, causing anyone trespassing to become possessed by insanity.
Twenty years on Mark, a sociology student, is researching myths and lore for his thesis. He is intrigued by the legend surrounding the Bryce incident and convinces his friends to visit the house with him in order to prove that the stories are just stories. But when things start to get creepy the group is left wondering where the legend ends and the horrific truth begins.
