Description

In the brutal World War II Battle of Saipan, Marines Joe Enders (Academy Award Winner Nicolas Cage) and Ox Anderson (Christian Slater) are assigned to protect Navajo American code talkers Ben Yahzee (Adam Beach) and Charlie Whitehorse (Roger Willie). Trained to use a secret military code based on their native language, it was the only one never broken by the Japanese and was key to winning the war in the Pacific. The Marines' mission was "to protect the code at all costs" but as the bonds of war are forged, how far will they go to stop the code falling into the enemies hands?
Directed by John Woo (Face/Off, Mission Impossible 2), 'Windtalkers' is inspired by a true story of courage and sacrifice. Packed with superb action sequences, it is an exciting against-all-odds cinematic masterpiece and a must-have on Collector's Edition DVD.
