    Description

    Release Date: 03 March 2003

What happens when a delighted son suddenly discovers that the father he thought dead for all these years is alive and is, in fact one of the richest men in the UK?
What happens when the father, happily settled with wife and children, is suddenly confronted with a grown up illegitimate son?
The son is adamant that his father accepts him at all costs.
The father is equally adamant that he will not at any cost.
What happens next, is best seen in David Dhawan's latest film Yeh Hai Jalwa, brimming with masti, music and a hilarious story. With Salman Khan as the mischievous, spirited son Raju and Rishi Kapoor as his helpless, reluctant father, Rajesh Mittal, Yeh Hai Jalwa has enough fun and frolic to warm the cockles of your heart. Amisha Patel is Sonai, who love Raju and happens to be the daughter of Rajesh Mittal's loyal legal advisor Robin Singh (Anupam Kher). The more the desperate pair - Mittal and Robin try to get rid of Raju, the more firmly he gets entrenched in their homes and hearts. Worse still, everybody else including the patriarch Purshottam Mittal (Kader Khan), Smita Mittal (Rati Agnihotri), Rinkie Mittal (Rinkie Khanna) adore Raju and accept him as part of their family! What wild measures does Mittal take to eliminate Raju from his well settled life?
What part does Vishal Kapoor (Sharad Kapoor) as Rinkie's fiancee, play in the general mayhem?
Does the street - smart son succeed in making Mittal accept him as his beta?
Or does the frantic father succeed in getting rid of Raju?
The chuckle a minute Yeh Hai Jalwa is a total lark - clean, evergreen fun at its best!
