Yukikaze [Box Set] DVD

Vol 1.
33 years ago, an alien force opened an inter dimensional gate in Antarctica to invade the Earth. The unified forces of Earth formed a military unit under command of the United Nations to combat aliens. They were able to push the aliens back through the portal to the planet they call "Fairy". But the war still rages on. Rei Fukai, a pilot in the Elite Special Air Force (SAF) unit, flies the Yukikaze, an advanced fighter with an almost sentient computer control system.

Vol 2.
On the Eve of a major offensive against the JAM, Rei and Jack are sent through the passageway to Earth in order to test a new experimental engine for Yukikaze. JAM fighters follow them back to Earth and attack the Japanese Naval Fleet stationed at Antartica as part of the UN task force.
The advanced fighters of the Japanese Navy are unable to repel the JAM attack and it's up to Yukikaze to save the fleet...

Vol 3.
The time has come to fight. Weary of the never-ending war, the SAF decides to put an end to their conflict with the JAM, an extraterrestrial threat that they still cannot quite understand. The immense battle between the two dimensions that has been dreaded for so long will at last take place. Bukhar, Cooley and Lieutenant Rei Fukai will come to realize that mankind's hope now lies in the machine. Yukikaze.
