The player is able to face off against over 30 of the world’s top poker players. Success in these games will unlock tools to further the career. For those less familiar with the game of poker or looking to sharpen their skills, there is a poker school setting, which offers tips and tricks to improve the ability to judge a hand. The computer opponents don’t just fold their hand based on odds but can convincingly bluff. The game has variable difficulty levels so both the novice and the experienced poker player can enjoy it.

There is also the ability to customise the appearance of the character as they travel around some of the biggest poker locations in the world including rooms on the Las Vegas strip. When not playing through the calendar events players may receive calls from opponents asking if they’re interested in playing some cash only games outside of the official tournaments.
