Jack Carter (Sylvester Stallone) has spent his life collecting for other people - debts, agendas and retribution. When his brother is killed in an accident, Carter returns home to the family he abandoned and the debts that were never paid. The trip home is a second chance to make amends for past mistakes.

Despite initial suspicions from his brother's wife, Gloria (Miranda Richardson) and his teenage daughter, Doreen (Rachel Leigh Cook), Jack forms an uneasy truce and soon she is helping navigate the violent underbelly of the city through a deceptive world where nothing is what it seems. This version of Get Carter is a sharp and brutal remake of the 1971 classic, also starring Michael Caine and Mickey Rourke.
