This is 29, Acacia Road. And this is Eric, the schoolboy who leads an exciting double life. For when Eric eats a banana, an amazing transformation occurs... Eric becomes Bananaman. Eric may be your average, run-of-the-mill, weak schoolboy - but at least he's got a brain-cell or two. But when Eric eats a banana, he trades whatever brains he has for pure muscle and becomes Bananaman.
This is your typical super-hero type story. A normal person, leading a normal life, transforms into someone or something that is capable of saving the world from whatever disaster hides around the corner. Only difference is that normal super-heroes do have an IQ higher than their shoe size. If Bananaman's IQ was any lower, he'd trip over it. But saying that, he does get the job done. Usually with the help of his side-kick Crow, who tries to breathe a little bit of intelligence into the under-worked banana-brain.
