Sending Gifts

Can I use the site to send a gift?

You can send a gift in two ways:

• You can purchase an item and have it sent to an alternative shipping address. You can find more details on the my address page. You can also choose to gift wrap the item.
• You can send an e-gift certificate.

How To send an E-Gift Certificate

Simply fill in the name and the email address of the person you wish to send the certificate to. Please make sure the email address is correct.

• Choose how much you would like to spend between £1.00 and £999.99 and then add your personalized message.
• Click 'continue' to view your certificate. To make any changes click on 'edit details'.
• When you are happy, click on 'add to basket'.
• To cancel, empty your basket.
• To continue, proceed to checkout and add payment instructions.
• The person who will receive the gift certificate will receive an email from us, with a link to our website, where they can access the voucher. It will appear as credit on their account.
• If they are new to our site, we give them a password, for security purposes.

Send as a gift

If you have selected an alternative shipping address for your order, you will see an option to "Send this order as a Gift".

Tick the box and click the "Send this order as a Gift" button if you do not want us to list the monetary value of the goods on the receipt which is sent with your order. This could be because you do not want the recipient to know the cost of the order, for example if it is a gift.

If you do NOT tick the box and click the "Send this order as a Gift" button, the receipt will list the full monetary value of the goods purchased.

In either instance, you should complete your order in the usual way.

How to Gift Wrap an item

For a small charge of £2.00 we will gift wrap any item and handwrite a personal message of your choice. There are no extra postage charges for this service.

Messages are restricted to 50 characters.

1. Select the item you want to gift wrap after you have placed it in your basket, by clicking the 'Wrap' button to the right of the item.
2. Type in your personal message. This will be handwritten on an accompanying gift card and attached to the gift. Please do not use overly sexual or abusive language, as this will be replaced with a "best wishes from" greeting.
3. In order to finalise the gift wrap, please confirm that your message is correct. If you want to amend the message, click the 'edit' button. When you are happy with your message, click 'continue'. You will be returned to your basket page, where your gift wrap choices will be displayed.
