Description

A divorced newspaper magnate is in danger of losing his star reporter - his ex-wife - to another man. He tempts her to stay on at the newspaper with the enticement of a potential front page story involving a prisoner wrongfully sentenced to death. She takes the bait and there follows a saga of unbelievable complexity and excitement in which love, justice and cynicism are nicely mingled together.
