Sooner or later the truth must be told. Oscar Novak (Matthew Perry) will finally come out of the closet and declare before friends that he is, well, straight. Or will he?

A business tycoon (Dylan McDermott) mistakenly thinks that Oscar is gay and asks him to spy on his girlfriend Amy (Neve Campbell). Oscar, unwilling to hurt his chances of winning a lucrative multi-million dollar architectural contract from the mogul, agrees... and falls madly in love. Unfortunately for Oscar, Amy also thinks that he is gay, and when he is honoured as Chicago's Gay Professional of the Year, he has to make a decision - will he continue to live a lie or is it time to face the consequences, come out of the closet and tell the world that he is secretly... straight?
