A terrific directorial debut for cult actor Steve Buscemi, Trees Lounge is a black comedy about the missed opportunities and cruel blows of fate suffered by full-time alcoholic and professional loser Tommy (Buscemi) and his barfly buddies.

It has not been a good month for Tommy - sacked from his job as a mechanic by the boss (Anthony LaPaglia) who also stole his girlfriend (Elizabeth Bracco), he ends up driving an ice cream truck and getting himself mixed up with a 17-year-old tearaway (Chloe Sevigny).
