Description
Drumline tells the story of Devon Miles, a young, gifted hip hop drummer from Harlem who gains a music scholarship at a major university.
As soon as he arrives he sets his sights on leading his school band to victory in a music competition. However, his streetwise humour and attitude causes resentment and jealousy amongst his peers and he soon realises the hard way that it takes more than talent to reach the top.
