Karen Moon is a depressed painter trying to cope with her mother's suicide, feeling out of place in her life and, after an incident in a rain swept bus stop, now suffering from amnesia. Beside dealing with the loss of her mother, the people she's closest to love punk music, but she hates it. The mystery builds as we learn that carer Sam, who also looks after fellow sufferer Kyle, besides providing a sanctuary for them to recover, has designs on matching them up. Sure enough the two of them do fall in love, but once Kyle and Karen remember who they are, they must each decide whether to go back to their stable but mundane lives or together embrace a new beginning.
