Description
In the northern Scottish town of Lochdubh, PC Macbeth likes the idea of a trouble free life, but somehow trouble always finds him...
As the local police constable, he likes fishing, walking in the hills and can see himself remaining a Highland constable for the rest of his days. Macbeth only has two problems. One is crime. The other is promotion. The latter of which he definitely doesn't want, as it would mean moving away from his beloved Lochdubh.
The Great Lochdubh Salt Robbery
PC Hamish Macbeth outsmarts his superiors and puts two mysteries together, when local bully Geordie Robb goes missing along with huge quantities of table salt, stolen from the local shop.
A Pillar Of The Community
Hamish learns his favourite author has moved to Lochdubh, but unfortunately his wife is not so popular with the locals. Hamish steps in after she receives some unwanted threats.
