The Wedding Planner
Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez) is a highly successful wedding planner whose passion and creative vision make her client's dreams come alive. But to get to this position she has ignored working on her own fairytale ending. That is until she accidentally meets Dr. Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey).
Witty, intelligent and gorgeous, he seems to have it all. But as Mary begins to melt she discovers one or two complications - Steve is engaged to a client, and this client wants to throw the biggest wedding Mary has ever handled.
With so much riding on this one account Mary tries to ignore her growing feelings. But the longer she spends with the happy couple the harder she finds it to keep to the golden rule, never fall in love with the groom.
Suzie Gold
Suzie Gold is a twenty-something Jewish girl from North London. Her sister Sophie is about to get married, and the pressure is on for Suzie to follow suit. Her family have traditional views about marrying out of the faith, and they soon set her up with Anthony Silver - the 'perfect' Jewish candidate in their eyes. However, after a disastrous date, Suzie realizes there is no connection between them.
Then, when Suzie gets a job at a TV station, she meets and falls for the gorgeous Darren, but there is one major problem... Darren isn't Jewish! She feels ashamed when she can't return the compliment and introduce him to her family. He realizes he can never live up to her family's expectations and ends their relationship.
Will Suzie ever find the 'perfect' man, and more importantly... will her parents ever approve?
