Description
Nico Palmieri (Fabio Testi) is a police inspector who battles against hoodlums who terrorise an Italian town and extort cash from the locals. With the threat of horrific brutality, no one dares to act except a restaurant owner (Renzo Palmer) who approaches Palmieri and sings like a canary. As a result, his young daughter is raped. Discovering that the terrorism is related to drug dealers, Palmieri is forbidden to continue investigating this case by his superiors so he goes it alone. Palmieri recruits men who have become victims of the crooks and the film ends with a bloody massacre. Bullets fly and blood spatters the screen.
The Violent Professionals
Violent Professionals: (1973) A highly praised Italian crime thriller from Sergio Martino about a tough, smooth-guy cop who goes undercover as a wheels man to infiltrate a ring of cop-killin' bank robbers. It's great stuff with a bit more plot complications than the usual pasta-cop outings with some stunning chase sequences thrown in to boot!
The friend of a murdered police commissioner infiltrates the mob in an attempt to discover the killer responsible for his former companion's death. His investigative methods are often both violent and illegal.
