Echoing the film noirs, of the 1950's, Marcus Reichert's powerful production is the epitome of understated, yet deeply affecting film making. A repressed accountant obsessed with the person stealing his morning milk is eventually driven to committing an act of irrational violence. His wife however, appears to have plans of her own.
Deborah Harry relishes her debut film role and is joined behind the scenes by fellow Blondie member Chris Stein, who wrote the score. But it is the work of artist Marcus Reichert whose unique vision inaugurated the neo-noir movement and has since been a huge influence on numerous film-makers including the Coen brothers, John Dahl and David Lynch.
