The state of Texas has many wildlife refuges where marsh and water birds migrate in countless thousands to feed and winter in the warm gulfstream climate.
Disc 1:
The Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge in Texas has an incredibly diverse habitat that is home to a rich variety of resident and migratory birds.
Among the many rare and colourful species to be found here are the spectacular Altamira Oriole, the Golden-Fronted Woodpecker, the Great Kiskadee and the Tropical Green Jay.
