Description

Based on Philip Barry's Broadway play, HOLIDAY was stylishly directed by Oscar-winning George Cukor (1964 Best Director, My Fair Lady). The classic film stars Oscar-winning screen legends Katharine Hepburn (Four-time Best Actress, Morning Glory, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, The Lion in Winter, On Golden Pond) and Cary Grant (1970 Honourary Award) reteamed again after starring together in Bringing Up Baby.

Cary Grant plays an iconoclastic young man who's engaged to a snooty, high society heiress (Doris Nolan) but eventually discovers he's really in love with his fiancee's down-to-earth sister (Hepburn). Witty, sophisticated and very funny, the film's romantic message is timeless and the chemistry between Grant and Hepburn is electric.
