Description
This chilling and emotionally-charged children's drama from BAFTA Award-winning writer Russell T Davies was first broadcast in 1993. Having already had success with the sci-fi adventure Dark Season, this series would further establish the credentials of the man who would eventually take Doctor Who into the 21st Century.
When Tess Hunter and her mother move from the city to their new house in Century Falls, Tess befriends the only other children in the village, brother and sister Ben and Carey Naismith. These strange twins have been summoned to the village, after being sent away many years ago.
As the children tour Century Falls they discover a ruined temple, evidence of a terrible fire and waterfalls that exert a strange power. It gradually becomes clear to Tess that the village holds a dark and devastating secret - a secret that is about to be revealed in the most terrifying circumstances...
