Description

A young beautiful women named Carol (Olinka Berova) is plagued by hallucinatory voices calling her "Ayesha" and is drawn by a mysterious force toward the east. During her voyage, she meets Dr. Phillip Smith (Edward Judd) who is sympathetic to her plight, and overcome by her beauty, and who decides to accompany Carol to her unknown destination.

Killikrates (John Richardson) is the immortal ruler of the city of Kumua, an idyllic civilization seemingly frozen in another time. He waits for his Queen Ayesha to return to him and be made immortal by the power of the blue flame. Kuma's scheming High Priest (Derek Godfrey) has other ideas however and it has been he who has been calling Carol to the east by strange rites.

Eventually, the Carol and the good doctor reach the lost city of Kuma where Carol is greeted as the reincarnation of Queen Ayesha, the beloved of King Killikrates. Phillip is imprisoned and meets Za-Tor (Noel Willman) who tells him of the high priest's deceitful plan to obtain the secret of immortality for himself. Will Philip escape in time to reveal the truth and save Carol from destruction?
