Meeting - Brenda and Pamela Wilson are sisters who spend a lot of the time playing a game called 'people-watching'. Whilst in their local pub, The Grapes, they spot a 'newey' called Malcom and Brenda arranges to spend a day out with him. Surprised and disappointed that he is a bird-watcher and not a biker she soon finds herself on a day out at Burton Marsh!

Outing - Terry is curious about Malcom's date with Brenda. Pretending to be a customer, Brenda calls into the shop to arrange another date but with Malcom's mother, Mrs. Stoneway, also making arrangements it looks as though his day off will have to be a combined affair!

Hiding - Malcom injures his back birdwatching with Brenda. After six weeks convalescing he calls in at the grapes to see Brenda and it's time to confess: they certainly have missed each other!
