Triple bill of Doris 'Do-Do' Day features. In 'Midnight Lace'(1960) when newlywed heiress Kit Preston (Day) is unnerved by a series of threatening telephone calls and near-fatal 'accidents', she finds husband Anthony (Rex Harrison) less than sympathetic. He believes that the danger is all in her mind but she sees potential suspects everywhere - site foreman Brian Younger (John Gavin), treasurer Charles Manning (Herbert Marshall) and doting next-door-neighbour Malcolm (Roddy McDowall), to name but three. In 'That Touch of Mink' (1962), Philip Shayne (Cary Grant) is a wealthy businessman who accidentally muddies the dress of Cathy Timberlake (Day) when his limousine drives past her in the street. She arrives at his office to complain, only to be charmed into spending the day with him. Soon he's asking her to accompany him to Bermuda for a romantic holiday. She refuses at first, but weakens when he plies her with mink coats and champagne. 'The Ballad of Josie' (1967), is a western starring Day as Josie Minick - a feisty widow left to fend for her and her son (Teddy Quinn) after her abusive drunkard rancher husband dies with Josie suspected of doing him in. She decides on raising sheep as the way forward - and Arapaho town is cattle country. Local ranchers are less than thrilled and leading the anti-Josie cheer is Arch Ogden (George Kennedy) - a local cattle baron-cum-bigot. There are fights, gunfire, an all-out riot by the ladies of Arapaho who come to the aid of Josie against their own cattle-owning husbands and, eventual compromise with Josie entering the cattle business and marrying Jace (Peter Graves).
