The story is set six years post the 1971 Indo-Pak war that culminated in the creation of Bangladesh. Despite winning, several Indian defence personnel found themselves captive in Pakistan with the Government of Pakistan denying their existence International Pressure forced Pakistan to make changes in the way these prisoners were to be treated. In a calculated move, the Pakistani Army was ordered to assemble the Indian prisoners of war from various jails and transfer them to a secret location in a mountainous terrain.
Cut to a new camp where living conditions, food and other amenities improve considerably, compelling the captive Indians to believe that their release has been finally negotiated thus giving them reason to celebrate. However, a band of six soldiers, Major Suraj Singh (Manoj Bajpai), Lt Ram (Manav Kaui), Lt. Gurtu (Deepak Dobriyal), Capt. Kabir (Kumud Mishra), Subedar Ahmed (Chitaranjan Girl) and Capt. Jacob (Ravi Kishan), suspect foul play in this sudden change of heart. On investigating, they make a startling discovery that galvanizes them to take drastic measures to ensure the well-being of the Indian POWs. They must chalk out the most daring escape to the Indian border and alert the Indian authorities of their serious findings.
What ensues is a gut-wrenching chase across unyielding terrain, where these intrepid men brave inhuman conditions and the constant threat of the enemy hunting them down. During his dangerous mission, they have only each other to rely on coupled with undying love for their homeland.
But will this be enough to see them through?
