All seven episodes from the first series of the 1970s sitcom penned by the writers of 'The Good Life' and 'Ever Decreasing Circles' and starring Richard Briers and Michael Gambon. Ralph Tanner (Briers) is a compulsive liar who uses any means, no matter how embarrassing, to portray himself as a worldly, 'been there, seen it, done it all' chap - whereas in reality he is an inexperienced incompetent. Nevertheless, his brash front is enough to impress the gullible, timid Brian (Gambon) whom he meets in an airport, awaiting the same flight to Spain where they both hope to pursue amorous conquests.
