Collection of three documentary films directed by Humphrey Jennings. 'I Was a Fireman' follows a fire crew in Britain during the Blitz for 24 hours. 'Listen to Britain' features a selection of sounds and sights in Britain during World War II. Finally, 'Diary for Timothy' looks at Britain near the end of World War II through a visual diary for a baby boy born in September, 1944.
