Australian comedy starring Rosanna Arquette as Wendy Walters, an unhappy housewife who creates a fantasy in order to escape the boredom of her marriage. Wendy is obsessed with romance novels and when she becomes convinced that Ronnie is cheating on her, she decides to seek revenge by running off with Jake (Hugo Weaving), who bears a striking resemblance to a character in one of her romance novels.
